Higher revenues with WebProof. WebProof version 7 is now available. The main new features are web-to-print adequate InDesign correction features, 3D Flip Pages and Translate, which will probably be the most innovative feature yet. The 3D Flip Pages feature will be of great value for all current and many new customers as it is already part of the WebProof software and is supplied free. If you already pay for the use of 3D Flip Pages, you save this cost. By using WebProof for online proofing, we help the environment by reducing CO2 emissions by 300,000 kg. In addition, WebProof uses electricity supplied only from wind turbines and other renewable energy sources, both in our offices and the server park. In addition, WebProof is also actively contributing toward a better environment by plantin .... Read More

WebProof is making the world greener. More than four million pages are proofed and approved in WebProof each year. On average three people are involved in the proof approval process, that is, 12 million printed pages. If all these pages are not printed and instead are read and approved on-screen, we will save more than 1,500 trees and more than 300,000 kg of CO2 annually! In addition WebProof plants a tree every month for all our customers. You as a WebProof customer have after 10 years planted 120 new trees and for 1,000 customers, WebProof will have planted 120,000 trees – now, this is a figure that counts. .... Read More

3D Flip-release Pages for free. In a few months we will release our new 3D Flip Pages software. This will be free for our customers, but they will be able to charge for its use simply by providing their clients the Internet link. Your clients will be able to place this link on their website, and, in this way, make 3D Flip Pages available on the Internet. 3D Flip Pages is a highly economical alternative for all existing suppliers of Page-Flip (it’s free in WebProof), and has the same benefits, that is, bigger profits! .... InDesign Corrections from WebProof will soon be available. Many agencies give their clients access through VPN to implement changes in InDesign, but this requires a good knowledge of the InDesign software. WebProof has resolved this issue and users can now implement text corrections, translations, etc. directly in the original InDesign document, even if they do not have a background in graphics, in particular, the InDesign program. Customers who have WebProof and WebFlow (hotfolder-based workflow) installed on their local network can now make corrections directly in the original InDesign file, through the familiar WebProof user interface. See the results right away. The only requirement is access to the Internet. Save time and money. .... Read More

Launch of viral marketing program for WebProof. WebProof has decided to intensify its viral marketing program and has received help from Martin Thorborg, the owner of Spam Fighter who is well known for his Internet experience and, in particular, his use of viral marketing. WebProof software has been recommended by its customers, to whom it has proved its value and reliability. Sales are primarily generated through our existing customers’ use of “tip-a-friend”, because WebProof does not have a sales organization team. Positive references and testimonials from our customers such as LEGO, Bang and Olufsen, Pernod Ricard, etc. are resulting in global recognition of WebProof. Over the next year, WebProof will invest in greater use of viral marketing, and, in this way, it will .... Read More

Making corrections on the high-resolution PDF file is now possible in WebProof. This has been done in response to requests from our printer clients, regardless of the workflow and whether they are using Adobe, Fujifilm, Kodak, Creo, Eskographic, or Screen, etc. WebProof was specifically asked if we could enable customers to make simple text corrections in the high-resolution PDF file themselves, in the very intuitive user interface and without any additional cost. WebProof has been able to resolve this to everyone's satisfaction so that end-users can now implement simple last-minute text fixes, without involving graphic designers or other people. This is saving our customers’ time and money, and mistakes. The only requirement is that clients should have access to the Internet. We .... Read More

Translation into 42 languages, is now an integrated feature of WebProof. The feature was actually developed to facilitate communications between various people in the proofing process, which have each their language. Now as an example a Chinese user can communicate with a man in Sweden, without being able to talk any other language than their own. But with a little additional development this function was extended to cover that WebProof now automatically can translate any text in the PDF’s to 42 languages and even Arabic are supported, ie. right to left. You just mark the text of the document and on-the-fly it is now translated - a great help to this part of the production process. The translate function can be used freely by all WebProof users free of charge. Exploited t .... Read More
